Two dogs that were recently diagnosed with a terminal illness seem to be making light of their situations. The two dogs, 10 -year-old Harley Bruiser and 15-year-old Buckeye, met soon after the news of their diagnosis and formed an excellent bond.
Their owners were told the two dogs have less than six months to live.
Harley, according to WTOV9, has Lymphosarcoma, while Buckeye has Cholangiocellular Carcinoma.
The owners of the two dogs are spending time with the dogs taking them through some of the most memorable moments as they await their fate.
The two have recently been to a doggie boutique, numerous treats, and a lot more lined up for the coming days.
I think it’s very essential that a pet is well taken care of to the very last day, Buckeye’s owner told WTOV9.
From the time he was rescued as a young pet and adopted Buckeye, has remained a royal family member in the Kemp clan.
Buckeye goes with his mom to her workplace at Goodworks Veterinary Hospital in Ohio, a place where pets are given high-quality health care.
Harley has been kept busy by his family in the last couple of months with all manner of treats. The bulldog who has been a royal family member has only a few days left.
Harley’s owner Ashley McElfresh spoke to WT0V9 – when we are driving to town, he is with us, when skating he is there, we are giving him all that he would want to have.
McElfresh has been recording all the memorable moments on a Facebook group. Latest adventures include taking a ride on a Harley Davidson motorbike.
During these last days, Buckeye sometimes appears on the Facebook page of his friend as the two friends who are together by fate strive to accomplish their dreams before bidding farewell to their families.
