A 36-year-old veterinary technician Stephanie Vice said her strong Bloodhound named Ruby Jane has a lot of love for the kittens they foster with her husband in Lakeland, Fla.
Ruby Jane has seen over 100 kittens over many years. The dog is now five years and has recently acquired her special small baby.
The one-month-old American Wirehair cat, Bodie, has had a good time with Ruby since last week. “Do you have a baby,” Jane? Is she yours? Stephanie asks in a video that captures the instance Ruby Jane shows affection to Bodie. She pats Bodie with her big paw.
“It’s fine, no problem for small cat”- it’s only a bath,”- Stephanie said in the video. The vet tech uploaded her encouraging video online on Thursday last week, and since then, the video has gone viral, attracting over 8,000,000 views.
The couple told Caters News Bodie, and two siblings came from a local shelter. The couple will care for the two until such a time when they can be put up for adoption.
“Ruby Jane likes playing and is liked by all the kittens,” said Stephanie. “She has shown particular interest in Bodie since he came here. In total, I have fostered 107 kittens in five years.”
